Description:
Super Smash Land is a remake of Smash Brothers as if it came out for the original gameboy. It uses the same color scheme, resolution and controls. However, the engine is smoother and allows for 4 player combat. The roster is small and inspired by Smash 64 with Mario, Kirby, Link and Pikachu heading the front.

Opinion:
The Super Smash Bros. series is my absolute favourite multiplayer game and Super Smash Land definitely has some of the appeal of its predecessors. The biggest issue is that normal attack and special attack has been combined into one button with some moves producing normals attacks and others simply producing special attacks, which really does make fighting a whole lot harder and less satisfying. Of course, shields and dodging is out as well, which is really unavoidable under these circumstances but fits with the minimalistic, simplified, style.
