Description:
With a few sprites and tiles taken from Cave Story and even a few from Zelda, Cavernous Tales is very meta in form. Similarly to Cave Story, it has some nice simple combat, but its main features are the almost rogue-like random map with a simple levelling system.

Opinion:
A decent shooter, but without any sort of story and with repetitive environments it is not really something I would recommend, but it is enjoyable.
