Description:
Platformer game with a teleporting mechanic. Use your focus powers to avoid missiles! You need twitchy fingers for this one. Very addictive, very difficult just-one-more-go.
Opinion:
A very unique and enjoyable platformer that is just way too hard. It starts off great, with a diverse group of challenges but degrades into faster and faster, more and more homing missiles, with less and less cover, until every level is just a small open areas with rapid fire missile launchers that fire homing missiles that travel at insane speeds (such that you cannot be out of focus mod for even a small faction of a second without dying).
The key element of Focus is the use of focus mode. During the beginning of the game you acquire and level up your focus power which allows you to go into focus mode and teleport anywhere within a radius determined by your remaining focus power, and gain some momentum in the same direction as well. Your power is drained both slowly while in focus mode and relative to the length of your teleportation, while out of focus mode it constantly and quickly regenerates.
